Consent

Just a reminder. Consent is an ongoing uncoerced and enthusiastic YES. Consent can be revoked at anytime, even if you’ve done this thing before. It is still required if you’ve been in a long term relationship or are married. Consent is required from both parties every time. If someone pressures you into doing something, if they threaten or coerce you, if you say nothing and look uncomfortable than it is NOT consent. SILENCE is NOT consent. YES is CONSENT.
Here is a great essay about the problems with silence as consent and how it perpetuates rape culture.
