#5: Sunrise/Sunset

Ever have one of those nights where even in the moment you realize it's special. That was my Saturday night.

After months of trying to film something, my friends and I finally did. We filmed a short horror film, then we stayed up all night talking about nothing and everything. We watched the sun set and the sun rise. I finally got to bed around 8am.

I didn't realize how much I missed filmmaking (it's been months since the last time I was on a film set). I especially miss making art with my friends. I miss just hanging out with people like I did in school and I miss everyone living close enough for that to be possible anymore. I find here to be an isolating city. You must drive to do ANYTHING. You must painstakingly plan every interaction; things don't happen as organically. I could use more weekends like this past weekend.
